Live like a local in this traditional accommodation located in a quiet area and a few minute's walk from the historic center of Madrid and the traditional places: La Cava Baja, El Rastro, Plaza Mayor, and the Royal Palace in the neighborhood of La Latina.
Enjoy a unique experience on your next Madrid adventure from this bright accommodation with large windows that let in plenty of light and with blinds and shutters for those times when you want a little less light. The property has two floors, on the second floor, you will find a master bedroom with a double bed and a fully equipped bathroom with a bathtub and shower, perfect for a relaxing shower after a long day exploring the wonders of Madrid.
On the second floor, you will find a second bedroom with a single bed, an additional bathroom equipped with WC and shower, a warm and cozy living room with TV, a large sofa next to the dining room with 4 seats, the ideal space to create unforgettable moments with those who accompany you. In addition, a comfortable kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, and all the necessary utensils to prepare your favorite recipes and feel at home during your stay in this great place.

The apartment is well situated in the La Latina neighborhood. All of the primary attractions in Madrid are just a short walk away - The Royal Palace and Opera House, San Francisco Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and just a bit further the museums Reina Sofia and The Prado.
Sundays in La Latina are amazing. The Rastro, a large antiques flea market is steps away and the neighborhood is full of life. We are also a few minutes walking from the tapas bars of Cava Baja. Located just up the street from the apartment are Sixta and Atril - both fun alternative/gay bars that are packed on Sunday evenings before midnight.
For a more fun night out the apartment is 5 metro stops from Chueca. Although we always opt for the 30 minute walk through Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and Fuencarral - one of the liveliest walks in central Madrid.
The apartment is between La Latina and Puerta de Toledo metro stops on the 5 line. It is less than 10 minutes walking from Plaza Mayor and another 5 minutes to Sol, the center of Madrid. At La Latina Metro there are taxis available 24 hours a day and there are several bus lines on the adjacent Gran Via de San Francisco.
There is a BiciMAD station at the and of our street on Carrera de San Francisco. From here you can rent an electric assisted bicycle and ride anywhere in the center of Madrid, leaving the bicycle at any BiciMAD station. The rental process is fully automated - you can book ahead online or at the BiciMAD station. It is €2 per hour of use with a maximum of 2 hours per use. There is no limit to how many times per day you can rent a bicycle.
A taxi trip from Barajas to the apartment is only €30 and the return is €35. These are flat rates that do not change based on route traveled. The journey usually takes less than 30 minutes.
Our apartment is situated on the narrow streets of the historic center of Madrid. Non-residents are only be permitted on routes that provide access to parking garages - there is no on-street parking for non-residents. Control is via automated camera systems. Fines and citations will be delivered to the registered of the vehicle. There are large parking garages within 10 minutes walking at Mercado de la Cebada and Puerta de Toledo. Each will charge up to €31 per 24 hours.
For stays of a 28 days or longer, take into account the following information:
1. You will need to sign a lease contract
2. Utilities such as electricity, water or gas combined will be covered up to a total of 150 EUR per month. Any excess will be charged via resolution center once the bills are available. The Internet is complimentary for all stays and will not be taken into account here.
3. You will have to assume an additional fee for administrative services set at 125 EUR
